Of course you can burn China Berry wood. Last summer I took down a long dead 30' tree. Most of it has gone into the wood stove.
Mature, large China Berry wood is very beautiful on the inside. A pale lavender when first cut or split. After exposure to sunlight & air it turns a very nice reddish brown on the surface.
It is also very hard and burns quite hot.
You can burn Chinaberry. Some friends and I used it yesterday at a Wild Game Supper. We used it to cook Deer Sausage and Pork. One of my friends said he cooks with it all the time if it's available. It was the first time we used it and everyone said the meat was the best it's ever been. So I'm looking for some now to have my own stock.
