I have a recollection of hearing them practice in the mid 1970s next to the old 7-eleven in Seahurst (now the Handi Mart). I would be in about the place where the Bistro Bafi is now (2013).
I lived in Burien about 2 blocks from the 7 Eleven. They practiced in a building that was right next to what was once Jack's Pharmacy; My sister and would right up there on our bikes to watch them through the window...we brought our big fuffly german shepard mix dog with us....They ignored us because I think we were probably a nuisance. Anyway, we thought they were the most awesome thing we'd ever seen. We hung out so much up there just listening to them practice that they blacked out the windows so they couldn't see us. I still love Heart even today....back then, I had no idea who they were. (2013)
