Yes. You can find several species; especially the following four:

  • Galapagos shark (Carcharhinus galapagensis)
  • Silky shark (Carcharhinus falciformis)
  • Dusky shark (Carcharhinus obscurus)
  • Scalloped hammerhead (Sphyrna lewini)

These however are not aggressive; just curious towards swimmers. There are no reports of shark attacks in Los Cabos since 2008 (it was a sand shark, resulting in only minor injuries to the foot).
