Biting does not depends on a color of a bird, but it depends on how they were raised, and how comfortable they feel around the person who is handling them. I would say if they are hand fed, they are much less likely to bite. If you were to buy a parakeet, I would suggest leaving them alone in the cage for a day, and not handling them. This does not mean you should not talk to them, though. However, you should talk softly and calmly, and show the bird that you are a gentle person, and that is has nothing to be afraid of. Another thing, if you are afraid of the bird, and you try to hold it, the bird will know, and then they will be afraid. For example, if you get startled when they try to step up on your hand, that may scare the bird.
Hope I could help. (:
Depending on your Parakeets color, it's perfectly normal for parakeets to not have blue on it's head...
Yes unless you make them angry at which point they will bite you.
yes
Bluebirds, Blue Jays, and certain Parrots, and Parakeets can be blue.
fly away or bite really, really, really HARD!
In short, yes. The key is can those two specific blue parakeets get along. Color doesn't matter, but the two parakeets personalities may clash. If you have had a parakeet for a long time, he may not take kindly to an intruder. Often if you have three, two will bond and pick on the outsider. It is really about the individual birds not the color.
No. They do not have teeth so they can't bite cucumbers they would choke to death
Blue Bite was created in 2007.
blue and white or green and yellow
There have been cases where they do, but it is not recommended to mix different species of birds in the same cage. Cockatiels are much bigger than parakeets, and can cause serious damage from a single bite.
There are many, more than 120 species and sub-species, The most common in homes are: Blue, Green, and Rare Parakeets.
