No. there are polor bears in Alaska but you cant have them as a pet (unless they are in a zoo where they are still acknowledged to be wild and dangerous animals). And the people there live in normal houses, much like every other state.
Jessiemartin11- ya i live in alaska and i live in a normal house and the only pet i have is a cat and a dog, no moose or polar bears. it is only snowy from october to march and during the summer most people ride four wheelers. Also it gets super pretty in the summer and not everyone is eskimo/ indian.( i just had to add that.) for instance i have blonde hair pale skin and brown eyes. Also we dont hunt each meal, the most hunting i've ever done is shooting a target, usually everyone stops at the local fred meyer, Walmart, etc. lots of people and most of my friends hunt for the fun of it and they hunt for the moose meat cause u cant buy that at a most stores, also they hunt for the moose's antlers or a bears hide. i live in fairbanks ak. I just thought i should add to the previous answer someone else wrote to give people more info on alaska, it is an amazing state to live in if u can handle really cold weather :D
They do not make igloos. Inuit and Eskimos make igloos, not polar bears.
Polar bears are animals that roam the North and live in the wild,, Igloos are houses made of ice blocks built by the Inuit people that live in the Arctic, so the answer is NO, Polar bears DO NOT live in houses.
There are no polar bears in Sweden. Also, Swedes don't live in igloos. :)
Canadians DO NOT ride Polar bears! They ride moose and live in igloos
we live in igloos and ride on polar bears to school . that is why .
