Piranhas are generally not aggressive unless provoked or in certain situations, such as during feeding frenzies. While they are known for their sharp teeth and strong bite, they typically do not attack unless they sense a threat or are hungry. The presence of blood can trigger a feeding response, but they may also bite if they feel threatened or if they are in a competitive environment. Overall, piranhas are more likely to avoid confrontation unless they are motivated by hunger or stress.
Piranhas only attack when hungry or threatened
No because of how vicious piranhas are they will try to eat young
both can be as dangerous as they attack when they smell blood in the water. However as piranhas hunt in groups of up to 20 i believe piranhas are more dangerous.
not all the time they can if they are really hungry.
The piranha is known for its keen sense of smell, which helps them to locate prey. Blood in the water will send piranhas into a frenzy. They are also able to sense any unusual vibrations in the water around them and any commotion in the water will attract a shoal of piranhas.
