First, it is difficult to say whether the Body Shop ever "supported" the Palestinians. According to a report on the reliable urban legend website snopes.com, Sometime around the year 2000, the Body Shop began giving awards to humanitarian groups (such as groups that fight against child labor) and charitable organizations (such as groups that help the poor). In 2002, one of the company's awards went to a Palestinian charity. The company has also held a "Day for Palestine" (back in 2001), at the branches of the stores in the Arab nation of Dubai.

That said, the Body Shop has a long history of making donations to a wide range of charitable endeavors, and the fact that they have made two Palestinian charities the object of their giving does not prove that they are active supporters of the Palestinians, any more than their donations to a literacy group in Nicaragua (in 2000) means they are active supporters of Nicaraguans. Clearly, their charitable giving seems to favor groups the company perceives as underdogs. In fact, a focus on human rights (in a variety of countries) is part of the company's stated mission. Their website also states that they are involved with environmental issues, animal protection, and human rights.
