Costa Rica officially joined World War II on December 8, 1941, following the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. The country declared war on the Axis powers, including Germany, Italy, and Japan, on December 23, 1941. However, Costa Rica did not send troops to fight in the conflict but contributed by supporting the Allies through diplomatic and economic means.
Belize and Costa Rica
Panama entered the war on April 7, 1917 but why?
The only foreign nation that recognised the Confederacy was Mexico. There was also some diplomatic dialogue with Puerto Rico (or it may have been Costa Rica).
I'm sorry I meant two in my question and the answer is Belize and Costa Rica.
The presidend of Costa Rica is called Óscar Arias Sánchez. He was born in the province of Heredia, he is currently divorced. This is his second government, he was president from 1986 to 1990, during that time he won a Peace Nobel Prize for stopping the war in Central America, even when Costa Rica was not part of it. His second government is from 2006 and finishes in 2010. About the last question... Im not pretty sure, his declarations are mostly about laws, and sometimes, about polemics involving the government.
