The mountain peak Mount Siula or Siula Grande is located in the Peruvian Andes, and is considered one of the "least climbed" major peaks because of sheer walls on the West and South faces. The main peak is 6,344 m (20,814 ft) above sea level.

There is a subsidiary peak called Siula Chico separated from the summit by a 1000-foot-deep saddle valley (col). The difficulties of safely climbing Siula Chico (6,260 m or 20,540 ft ASL) can be illustrated by the fact that all but a handful of climbs to this peak were made by climbing across the valley from Siula Grande.
