Biloxi is a city located in Harrison County, Mississippi, covering an area of approximately 50.8 square miles (131.5 km²). As of the 2020 census, it had a population of around 46,000 residents. The city is known for its coastal location along the Gulf of Mexico and its historical significance, as well as its casinos and beaches.
Casinos are the main industry today. Biloxi used to be the seafood capital of the world at one time. Shrimping and oystering are very big in Biloxi, due to the decline of the famous Biloxi Schooners, casinos have taken over.
