Munich has lots of interesting and beautiful sites, that are worth visiting. In the city centre alone, there's for example the pedestrian zone with the city hall and it's famous chimes. You could also visit a couple of beautiful cathedrals, such as the "Frauenkirche" or the "Theatinerkirche" (in the Frauenkirche you are even allowed to visit the top of the bell towers). If the weather is ok, you could also check out the Englischer Garten (which is a big park)! I would also recommend you to visit the Nymphenburg Palace and the gardens surrounding it. Unfortunately it isn't located in the city centre.. Oh and if you are in Munich at the end of september don't forget to visit the biggest beer festival world wide!
