Parakeet nest boxes need to be at least 6" x 7" x 7" with a 1.5" diameter hole, although some breeders prefer a wider nest box with the hole st off to one side so the female doesn't land on the eggs when she enters. In that case, I recommend a box around 6" x 7" x 10" (H x D x W).
yes
Well parakeets need to be out of their cage for t least an hour a day, you can have it out longer but if your bird is one that does not like to be messed with I would suggest letting it on top of the cage and carring it just occasionaly.
i got a parakeet just 1.but next 2 the cage i have a par of cocktail birds.my parakeet had 2eggs in the the cage this mornin....so am thinken maybe the boy cocktail had sex with it throw the gate it sounds funny but i swair this is real....no lie can somebody anser this 4 me whats good....
1. Open the door and let it come out itself. 2. Get the budgie up on your hand and get it out. 3. Grab the budgie and pull it out.
they r probably just getting used 2 the surroundings
you would probably need a medium sized cage for a male rat as they are quite big. but you could get a cage with a few ladders and and a exercise wheel to keep it active.
For parakeet eggs, letting the parents incubate the eggs and raise the young is best. If you plan on breeding your parakeets I would recommend getting books or reading on the internet information specific to the species of parakeet you would like to raise, there are many different types and each type has its own special needs. If you have only 1 parakeet and it has lain an egg on the bottom of the cage you may discard that egg. Since there is no boy bird, and the egg was not laid in a nest specific to that type of parakeet it will not hatch.
Bigger than 1 rat. Smaller than the universe.
How you can tell if the cage bars are to far apart is if its head can fit through them than the gap is to big
Every 1-2 months.
It really depends on how big your cage is but if you have a 20 by 20 cage you can put 2 but if I were you I would just get 1 for financial and breeding situations. Hope this helped!
