"Siberian" is likely from the region. "Husky" is likely a corruption of "Esky," which was one a nickname for Eskimos and subsequently their dogs.
Because it's in their breed name, they come from Siberia, Russia. Strangely, there aren't many Siberian Huskies left in Siberia....
