david caroll miller is my greatfather ,and my grandfather his son Charles hardy miller told me of david how he did build the rock wall around biltmore house mansion.and a huge rock was going to fall on another man ,while the wall was being built and david caroll caught the rock and saved the man .but in turn it caused him to have a hernia that bothered him all his life . and it was belived that this hernia was what eventually killed him!
