Italians eat very badly they have no manners

* Of course i must disagree with this first answer, there are many people in Italy and they do not all have the same manners.

This question can be interpreted different ways. Italians eat as well as they can afford , as fresh food that is prepared well is very important.

Eating At home -Many Italians eat no breakfast ,or if they do it is light, such as a cornetto (a type of roll,) coffee or hot chocolate, some do eat cereal with milk .

Lunch is usually at 12 or one pm., and will be a big meal. A typical meal in Rome could be pasta with a sauce made with chucks of pork, with the pasta served with the sauce only first and the pork served after with the sauce, along with good fresh bread. & a green vegetable and a green salad with home made dressing and finally fruit.

Dinner is usually at 8pm or 830 pm . typical would be a antipasto, a pasta course, a meat course with vegetables and salad and fruit to finish.

The nicer, larger apartments tend to be in the hands of residents who have enough money to own instead of to rent. But no matter the income level, Italians tend to have their houses in the country.
