China is ruled autocratically. Any protest is quelled and harshly punished. The Tienanmen Square Massacre is a perfect example of the way that China reacts to its people's demands for increased political and social rights. However, the Chinese government has allowed for complete economic liberty, freeing corporations to grow massively and bring incredible profits to China.
