The normall address format for a place in the UK is:

Number, Street

Town

County

Postcode

For example:

123 High Street,

Anytown

Lincolnshire

LI99 7ZQ

In many places there is another level between the street and the main town.

The county is not strictly required. The house number and postcode are enough to identify the location.

[In some locations house names are used instead of numbers.]
