We raise Dairy goats and to breed them .. first they have to reach the weight of 75 lbs.. then it has to be mating season.. usually between Aug. and Jan.... when a goat starts wagging her tail a lot (which is called flagging ) bleating and rubbing on the fence.. or mounting other does.. then she is ready for the buck.... we deworm our goats in Aug.. to prepare for breeding season .. put our goats in the pens that we want .. then move the bucks in with them.... we have 7 bucks in rotation now .. all of my goats are due between Jan. and Feb.. for a total of 50 does....... so about 2x that about of kids.. we bottle feed them all .....I hope I answered your question
Pygmy goats are a small breed of goat.
Annually.
Yes you can
boer goats are a main breed in Africa.
Goats and deer can breed with their own kind but they can't interbreed as they have different genetic make-up and are different species.
Breeding goats depends on the breed of goat and where you live. Dairy goats (Saanen, Oberhasli, Alpine, etc) are able to be bred in the fall. They can take from late August to probably December. Other goats, like meat goats can be bred year round, depending on how cool the climate is. Good luck!
Just one, pygmy goats are not a cross breed.
