To fix the "E" warning light on the dash of a Lincoln LS, first check the vehicle's manual for specific definitions and troubleshooting steps. Common issues can include low fuel, an empty tank, or a malfunctioning fuel gauge. If the tank is adequately filled and the light persists, it may indicate a fault in the fuel system or gauge, requiring diagnostic tools to identify and fix the issue. Consider consulting a professional mechanic for a thorough inspection and repair.
If you mean the " E " at the bottom of the fuel gauge that means the fuel tank is ( Empty , that there is no fuel left in the tank )

E 85, no. The normal gas with up to 11%, yes.
it means you need to take it to a service tech because your trans is slipping in certain gears. not a good thing may need to be replaced
I'm not a mechanic / technician but on a 2004 Lincoln LS , 3.9 liter V8 the engine cylinder locations are numbered : firewall 4 - 8 3 - 7 2 - 6 1 - 5 front of Lincoln LS , 3.9 liter V8 engine So , I ASSUME it would be : firewall D - H C - G B - F A - E front
your tranny experienced an error... you can get the code with regular OBD tool... i bet for broken spring in the valve body, especially if you get errors for bad solenoid or missing gears in straight sequence (e.g. 3-4-5)... $800 fix...
you just need your e brakes replaced which are on your back wheels only
I'm not a mechanic / technician but I know the engine cylinder locations are numbered : firewall 4 - 8 3 - 7 2 - 6 1 - 5 front of Lincoln LS , 3.9 liter V8 engine ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So I ASSUME it would be : firewall d - h c - g b - f a - e front of vehicle
I'm not a mechanic / technician but I know the engine cylinder locations on the 3.0 liter , V6 engine in a Lincoln LS are numbered : firewall 3 - 6 2 - 5 1 - 4 front of vehicle ---------------------------------------------- So , I assume it would be : firewall c - f b - e a - d front of vehicle ( that would make sense to me )
