If you are a Texas resident, you will be required to take an exam. If you are not a resident of Texas, you will first have to obtain a license in your resident state - which will require an exam - with the same lines of authority you are requesting in Texas (Life & Health). Once you carry a resident license in any state, you can then apply for a non-resident license in any of the remaining states as long as you carry that line of authority in your home state.

If you wish to adjust claims in Texas then you will need to take the Texas Adjuster license exam that is approved by Texas Department of Insurance. There is no specific educational requirement to get your Texas Adjuster license. Licensing requires the completion of pre-licensing courses, passing a state licensing exam or both. After being licensed, be sure to keep up with your yearly adjuster continuing education. Most courses take 40 hours to complete, and many course providers like the related link below allow you to complete the course online. You must pass the Texas Department of Insurance insurance adjuster exam at the end of the course. Your course provider is responsible for administering the exam. Most states have different requirements for licensing to become an insurance adjuster and requirements vary by type of license you choose to opt for.

For example, there is a property of the victim and the regulator, all lines, workers compensation adjustment, and life, health and public scrutiny. Through the insurance and property damage adjusters license is required for the homes, cars, businesses, etc. If you select All Lines license control, you can adjust to all the property and claims of the victims, and claims of workers. In this way all the lines of control required license amendments to the license type.

Among the different types of licenses adjustment is more valued than the Texas Resident Adjuster license because of its recognition and acceptance. Once you got your license, we will continue to help you succeed in your career by offering accredited continuing education and practice that will allow you to maintain your license.
