  • I say that to avoid accidents on the road everyone should just follow the laws and traffic lights. If you break the rules you will receive consequences such as getting injured or having to pay lots of money.
  • In the UK the rules of the road are governed by the Highway code. If everyone followed these rules the roads would be safe, but the reality is that many drivers, pedestrians and other road users cut corners and sometimes are not fully familiar with the rules which result in accidents happening. I suggest therefore that in addition to following the rules of the road - you watch out for road users making mistakes and be ready to react.

1. Don't text while driving.

2. Don't drink while driving. (Quite obvious, but people do, and it causes fatal accidents.)

3. Don't fiddle around with the radio.

4. Don't multi task while driving. (Putting on makeup, trying to call someone, etc.

5. FOLLOW THE LAWS. Also quite obvious, but some people don't! Do not run red lights, follow the speed limit, don't turn right when you're not supposed to! All basic, but when people don't follow the laws, (which unfortunately happens quite often,) accidents happen!

6. BUCKLE UP!

These are just six basic things that can help prevent accidents. There are most definitely more out there.

How can suicide brakes be effectively implemented to prevent accidents and ensure safety on the road?

Suicide brakes, also known as emergency brakes, can be effectively implemented to prevent accidents and ensure safety on the road by ensuring they are regularly maintained and tested for proper functionality. Drivers should be trained on how to use them in emergency situations and be aware of the potential risks of not using them correctly. Additionally, road signs and markings should be in place to alert drivers to the presence of suicide brakes and remind them of their importance in preventing accidents.
