I know a little from living here and hearing people speak. Guardian, well that reminds me of Aumakua, which is like God and spirit, who watches over you. Aumakua can be a protector animal, some Hawaiians have a Shark as an Aumakua. I don't want to misrepresent this, but this is what I think of from my understanding, should confirm with a Hawaiian, as that is not my culture or language....but I wanted to add since not very many people speak or Hawaiian, and its very special to know these beautiful things. I love how it sounds when Hawaiian is spoken.
It means guardian, caretaker or an organisational resource manager
Aloha: Say: ʻānela kiaʻi [ah-nay-la kee-ah ee] (it is important to seperate the last ee sound making it a seperate word)
You can say "I am Hawaiian" in Hawaiian as "ʻO wau he Hawaiʻi."
Michelle in Hawaiian is Mikala.
In Hawaiian, the word for "godfather" is "makua kāne." "Makua" means parent or guardian, and "kāne" refers to male, specifically a man or boy. Together, they convey the concept of a male guardian or godfather.
How do you say hello to a man in Hawaiian
In Hawaiian, you say "bracelet" as "hulikoa."
spirit or ghost = 'uhane
Your Hawaiian name would be Paliana.
to say dead in hawaiian we say MAKI
Well to say feet in Hawaiian is wāwae I dont think you can say toes.
IMPROVED: Aloha: Say loo ow (as if it were 2 words). many persons say it as one word; this is incorrect.Luau already IS in Hawaiian.
