How do you travel from Singapore to langkawi?

It's very easy to travel to Penang. You can easily take a flight on one of the budget airlines like Airasia. Or if you like, you can sit on the bus for about 10-11 hours. You can also take a train to Butterworth, Penang but that would take even longer....

To visit the beautiful Island of Langkawi the fastest way is to fly. There are 2 airlines that fly into Langkawi. AirAsia is flying daily at around SGD250. Flight leaves in the morning at 10:45 and arrives at 12:15. There are lots of things to do for a two day stay in Langkawi.

If you prefer to travel by land then the bus is your option.

Option One : Take the express bus to KL (approx 5 hours) and transfer to another express bus to Kuala Perlis (approx 8 hours) and hop on to a 45 min ferry to Langkawi.

Option Two: Take a express bus to Penang (approx 8 1/2 hours) visit Penang for a day and travel the next day from Pen to Langkawi by ferry (approx 3 hours) ferry leaves early in the morning at 8:15 and 8:30
