Greed is the short way of putting it. To elaborate if you legalize euthanasia in any form it then opens up more doors, you have decided that killing another person who is suffering is ok but there are those who would have you put down because keeping you alive was more expensive or they simply wanted their inheritance. If it was legalized and your greedy daughter for example wanted money for a upcoming vacation she could convince people it was kinder to kill you now just so she could have her way. That's when you get organized crime involved in this racket and soon murder has been legalized just renamed.
there is no such arrangement possible. Non voluntary euthanasia is execution.

Non-voluntary euthanasia refers to the practice of ending a person's life to alleviate suffering when the individual is unable to provide consent, such as in cases of severe mental incapacity or unconsciousness. This type of euthanasia raises significant ethical and legal concerns, as it involves making decisions on behalf of someone who cannot express their wishes. It contrasts with voluntary euthanasia, where the individual explicitly requests assistance in dying. The legality and acceptance of non-voluntary euthanasia vary widely across different jurisdictions.
Voluntary euthanasia, not to be confused with suicide, refers to humans who suffer from a terminal disease who choose to peacefully, usually with a doctor, end their life instead of spending the rest of their short life in pain or unable to do anything.
One form of nonvoluntary response in an animal is salivation in a dog. Another type of nonvoluntary response is the freeze reaction in a rabbit when it is frightened.
Euthanasia (from the Greek eu = good + thanatos = death) refers to the practice of ending a life in a painless manner. Many different forms of euthanasia can be distinguished, including animal euthanasia and human euthanasia, and within the latter, voluntary and involuntary euthanasia. Voluntary euthanasia and physician-assisted suicide have been the focus of great controversy in recent years.
Voluntary euthanasia occurs when a person consciously requests to end their own life, typically to alleviate suffering from a terminal illness or unbearable pain. In contrast, non-voluntary euthanasia takes place when the individual is unable to provide consent, such as being in a coma or having severe cognitive impairments, and a decision is made by a surrogate or medical professional on their behalf. While voluntary euthanasia respects the autonomy of the individual, non-voluntary euthanasia raises ethical concerns regarding consent and the value of life.
The Catholic Church is pro-life from conception until death. Euthanasia is not allowed.
