Women, especially, have drastically changed not only from the Medieval Times but from the beginning of man. Rather than just being stay at home moms who take care of the house and family, women are more independent. They are now considered equal to men (in Western countries). Children have also changed. They are no longer working hard (and mostly dangerous) labor at a young age (in Western countries). They now go to school to get an education to better themselves in the future.
