They had lots of holidays. But the most celebrated one is Christmas.
Easter lasts for about 2 weeks in Germany.
New Year's Day, Christmas, All Saints' Day, and Epiphany.
Religious Holidays are Easter, Christmas, "Pfingsten"... National Holiday is October 3rd, "Day of German unit".
It is different in every Bundesland (state). I live in North-Thine Westphalia and I used to have about 6 weeks of summer holidays, 2 weeks of fall holidays, about 2 weeks of Christmas holidays, 2 weeks of Easter holidays and once in a while a long weekend like on Pentecost or for example when the school decides to make a Friday after a legal holiday to an elective holiday.
Well Christmas is 12 days and I don't know about New Years.
Oktoberfest! Would be nice if this would be a holiday lol. You can´t ask what are the important German holidays as it depends if they are catholic or lutherian. For the lutherian Good Friday and Christmas are very important. To the catholics all holidays are important. If there are non believers all holidays are important as well because usually we don´t have to work lol
secular and religious holidays Christmas and new years
You have Christmas so you have more holidays
Christmas and Easter are two holidays.
Christmas
No, each holiday is celebrated separately. Christmas is one of the holidays in December, but there are also other holidays celebrated in other religions.
