How long does it take for mail coming from Australia to the us?

Weather sent via First Class Air-Mail or Third Class mail the package will be flown to your state. Many deliveries are depending on the priority given by the particular post office or volume of mail it is handeling. First class goes first! Third class goes when they get the first class done first. Additionally if you are a considerable distance from a post office you could add another week or two to delivery. Generally speaking two to three weeks. I mailed a letter at aAn out of the way post office letter drop in the Poconos. It took three weeks for the letter to reach me in Long Island New York. I dropped a bulk mail letter in (while working at) sack for my home after dating it and it arrived two weeks later. I mailed a First Class Letter in Hicksvill, New York at 11PM and it was delivered to Brooklyn, New York the next morning at 10:30 AM. I have ordered items from across the United States and delivery would take two to three weeks. I now am retired and living in North Carolina. Sove of those same companies now deliver to me in four or five days. Try calling your local postmaster and see if he can give you a better answer, for your area. Hope this helps.

Depends on what it is. For letters, a little bit more than a week. For parcels, a little longer than that. Also, depends on the timing. Around this time of year (late December / early January) everything is slower.

Well, I have only ever sent a few pieces of mail from Australia to the U.S. but mine took between 10 and 16 days to arrive.

It depends if its by boat or airplane. and most of it depends on the post office. usually (by airplane) 5-8 days maybe. boat from 5 days to a MONTH. yah I know that's a lot!!!!!!
