MOST of the bridge is low level, about 20-25 ft above the water (depending on tides) There are two elevated bridges to permit boats to pass beneath the roadway- one is 40 ft high, the other 75 feet high. Of course, there are two tunnels that are BELOW water level. Beautiful drive.
