Holland
Holland is the country who established fur trading posts in Alaska in the 1760's. The fur trade was a ship based system that acquired furs of sea otters and other animals from the Northwest Pacific Coast.

Europe never owned Alaska as Europe isn't a country. Alaska used to be under Russian control but was purchased by the United States. Since Alaska is so close to Russia, Russians just traveled over and set up forts, trading posts, etc. and eventually claimed the land.
