No there was not, It was all Black people
Jamestown
Like any other kind of live-stock.
In Africa, some blacks did, and do in the present day, own slaves. In the United States of America I doubt if any black people held other black people as slaves.
Black slavery in America began in 1619, when the first African slaves were brought to Jamestown, Virginia to work on plantations of tobacco.
Some would say there wasn't a 'need' as such, it was the leaders that organised the shipping of slaves that influenced the idea that the people of north america needed someone to do the dirty work, because black people in that time were seen as less then the white, they believed that they 'needed' someone to do the cleaning cooking ect. more and more people became influenced and greedy so demand (need) for slaves grew :) hope this helped :)
Acually it was the north versus the south. The north wanted no slaves and the south did.
the same way black people becamefree herein America
No. Africa is not one nation, but several small nations.
The North, or the Union, which is why there are no black slaves in America. The South, the Confederacy, surrendered on April 9, 1865.
It wasn't America that forced Africans into America, it was Ronald McDonald. He had a major grudge against black people so he decided to bring them to America to be made into hamburgers (some of the first big macs were made of black people). But he earned more money by selling them off as slaves. Also yes they were forced in America.
