How many children died in the twin tower attack?

No children were known to have died inside the World Trade Center. There was a daycare there but it was on a lower floor so all of the children were evacuated safely. But there were eight children who were killed that day- they were all passengers on the hijacked planes. The memorials all list three children on Flight 175 which hit the south tower, and five children on Flight 77 which hit the Pentagon.
