There are AGRs at the following: Dungeness B, Hinkley B, Hunterston B, Hartlepool, Heysham 1, Heysham 2, and Torness for a total of 14 reactors.
Most of the magnox reactors are now shut down. I believe Wylfa is the only one still operating. There is also a PWR operating (Sizewell B).

Geothermal energy is normally sourced from hot springs, geysers and hot rock deep under the ground. Usually, these are exploited to produce power. this depends... much of the power in the UK is supplied by nuclear power, and these power plants are mostly regulated by computors.. i assume its down to luck more than anything else.
