According to the Hells Angel MC Official website: "Should the Hells in Hells Angels have an apostrophe, and be Hell's Angels? That would be true if there was only one Hell, but life & history has taught us that there are many versions and forms of Hell." The answer would be, then, that the founders of the motorcycle club called Hells Angels were emphasizing the plurality of Hell, not any possessive quality.
HELLS ANGELS and the skull logo (R) are trademarks owned by Hells Angels Motorcycle Corporation, registered in the USA and in many other countries. All logos and designs of Hells Angels are trademark-protected(TM) and protected according to international law. Copying and other use is not allowed.
Law Enforcement estimates of Hells Angels range from 2000 to 2500 worldwide. Recent reports have put this estimate as high as 3000.
Hells Angels was originally the nickname of a Bomber Squadron. The name gained notoriety after the 1930 action film of the same name produced by Howard Hughes. There is no meaning, as in definition other than this. Hell's Angels (with apostrophe) is how the movie title was portrayed. Hells Angels is a copyrighted trademark recognized in several countries and is registered to Hells Angels Motorcycle Corporation. Laconia NH. A member of the Hells Angels might tell you that there are many Hells, and that each of us has our own, unique Hell. They are angels from those Hells, thus the word "Hells" with no apostrophe, and also the meaning typically associated with the modern term by those who identify themselves as such.
The Hells Angels were started in San Bernardino California, they were originally WWII flight veterans returning from war, not very many people at all know the exact name of the originals. They started out as PoeBobs, a group of men who were into street racing muscle cars. Soon after the PoeBobs started the Hells Angels which metaphorically referred to their war wings. I can not give names, but I can tell you this, I have a strong infatuation with Muscle Cars and Street Bikes, but I am only a granddaughter of the FIRST Hells Angel the one who started both the PoeBobs and the Hells Angels.. Grandpa is still alive and in great health for his age, He still has his original Harley and The First Hells Angels vest ever made!
H A are not in knoxville tn only Outlaws
One of the largest Biker gangs in the world is the Hells Angels, they have many chapters in Canada. Next to the Hells Angels biker gang, the largest would probably be the Outcast Biker gang, which also has chapters in Canada.
San Bernardino, CA. Maybe Fontana, CA, which is basically down the road from Berdoo, but San Bernardino seems to be the place where all roads point. I'm not sure if any body knows for sure.

Yes, the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club has a presence in Tacoma, Washington. The club is known to have chapters throughout various locations, including the Pacific Northwest. Their activities can sometimes attract law enforcement attention due to their involvement in criminal enterprises, though many members also participate in charity events and community outreach. It's important to approach the topic with an understanding of both the club's reputation and its members' varied interests.
There's a case to be made for each of the major 1% clubs to be the chief rival. It's arguable that the Outlaws are, especially in the northeastern United States. Violence between the two gangs has cropped up even within the last two years. There is currently a great deal of tension between the Bandidos and Hells Angels in certain portions of Europe, but they do have a peace agreement in place. What few articles on the topic can be found about the tensions between the Bandidos and Hells Angels in the US seem to be fairly dated and there doesn't appear to have been any significant tension since 2006 when the Bandidos allegedly assassinated a man in Austin, Texas who was attempting to start a Hells Angels chapter there. Shortly after this incident an indictment for criminal activity that more or less decapitated Bandido leadership in Washington was announced. It indicted 32 members of the Bandidos, including the President of the Washington chapter. The Pagans have also been at odds with the Hells Angels, having allegedly assassinated a Hells Angels Vice President in Philadelphia in 2005. Their numbers have dwindled however, while the Hells Angels have increased. Recent law enforcement estimates put the total membership of the Pagans at a number below 500, compared to estimates of Hells Angels which range as high as 2,500 worldwide. Further, in 2009 55 members of the Pagans (over 10% of their total membership) were arrested and charged with some pretty serious crimes including murder, kidnapping, drug trafficking and more. The cases are still pending but will undoubtedly be a fairly devastating blow to the Pagans, which may or may not diminish their ability to be rivals to anyone at all, much less the Hells Angels.
