too many! no it depends where you are, the west coast is alot wetter than the East coast, I THINK the East coast gets somehing like 1200-1400mm rain a year (which is comparable to a very sunny spot in New Zealand known as Nelson!)
In short most people who say it rains all time are referring to the West coast!
