Wolves were extirpated from Colorado by the 1940s, and for decades, there were no wild populations in the state. However, in recent years, efforts have been made to reintroduce gray wolves, with the state officially planning a reintroduction by the end of 2023. As of now, there are a small number of wolves in Colorado, primarily from migratory populations coming from neighboring states, but the exact number fluctuates and is difficult to pinpoint. The reintroduction aims to establish a sustainable population in the coming years.

not as many as other wolves?
Wolves could live wild in Colorado but they don't. There was one incident about five yeas ago a dead wolf was found on the side of i70 interstate that got hit by a car.Dow said it wondered down from Wyoming, most likely yellowstone. They talked about reintroducing them to Colorado but I'm pretty sure it got shot down because Colorado is much more populated with people than some of our neighboring states . Hope that answers any questions.
if u mean r wolves in danger or endangered. either way the answer is yes.
