True, for many years.
there was the revolution that made the tsar abdicate and allowed russia to become communist
For hundreds of years russia had been ruled by the czars, monarchs, but as the czars slowly dragged russia back to the dark ages, a communist revolution led by vladimir lenin in 1917 created the U.S.S.R. then in 1991 the U.S.S.R was dissolved by gorbacha.
The Berlin Wall
Stalin came to absolute power by slowly eliminating threats over a period of several years. The first was Leon Trotsky, and then he continued on. With each success he became more powerful. Eventually, he had taken over the entire Communist Party with him at the head.
It will never happen. You can't compare Germany and Russia. For the most part Nazism was outlawed after WW2 and Germany is a democracy. Russia has been communist since the early 1900's and it is the government that has continued to be communist. In fact, today it is stronger in it's communist philosophy than it has been in years. Putin has maintained a strong dictatorship in recent years.
