How much money dose it cost to run the London underground?

The price varies depending on how many zones you intend to travel, if you will pay cash, or use Oyster card Travelcard or Pay-As-You-Go.

However, a Zone 1 only, adult, trip will cost:

£4.50 cash

£2.10 Pay-As-You-Go

£8.80 Day Anytime Travelcard, and

£7.00 Day Off-peak Travelcard.

Beyond this, you can buy Travelcard for a week, a month, a year, there is a limit to how much your Pay-As-You-Go cost will be if you travel a lot over the course of a day, and these prices will most likely change in the near future, making this a very fuzzy list.
