Prosopis cineraria is the national tree of the UAE. They are generally slow growing and price is proportionate to the age of the plant. Generally the price can range between 40 AED for a small plant up to several thousand for a very large (nursery grown) specimen.
It is illegal to remove these plants from the "wild" or damage them, this comes with a hefty fine.
