If you work for a school district, anywhere between 27,000-37,500 to start out. It depends on how much the district pays. If you have no degree and you go work for a preschool such as Kinder Care you will start off at 7.50 maybe. I worked there over the summer and only made 9/hour and i am a certified teacher. If you are certified in early childhood (prek-3) it is best to have a special ed. endorsement if you want to work for a district.
