So-called "Maui trade dollars" aren't real coins. They're dollar-sized tokens created and sold by the Maui Chamber of Commerce to help raise funds for the MCC foundation. They're sold for $3 each, but depending on their dates some may be worth 2 or 3 times that amount to a collector.
