an "illegal tint" ticket will run you anywhere from $126.50 to $213 depending on where you are located.
Igot a ticket for illegal tint in north little rock arkansas and advance auto tint in little rock put it in what can i do
70 to 150 dollars usually, depending on the cop and percentage/ color of tint.
I would as I would not want to receive a ticket. Also there is a safety hazard with too dark tint especially at night. I never tint darker than what the law allows.
You have to remove the tint and pay a small fine
$75 if you admit it and correct the problem. $150 if you fail to answer the violation or correct it within 60 days. Up to $500 if you try to fight it in court and lose.
There are individual state regulations that govern how dark your tint can be.
It's a fix-it ticket. Just take it off (and replace with lighter, legal tint), get ticket written off by CHP, city police or sheriff. Pay fine...mine was $10...and that's it.
Yes, police can issue a ticket for tinted windows if they violate local laws regarding window tinting. Each state or region has specific regulations that dictate how dark the tint can be and which windows it applies to. If law enforcement believes your window tint is too dark or illegal, they have the authority to stop your vehicle and issue a citation. It's important to check your local laws to ensure compliance with tinting regulations.
In California you can only tint the rear sides and rear windows only (as dark as you want). The front sides and front windshield can only be tinted with a clear film or none at all. Lastly, in orange county, the fix-it ticket for front windows is $77+.
