Yes. The students need more recess. (or at least some breaks from instruction) There are advantages and disadvantages. Yes, the students get more time to play and eat, but if it is extended, then there will be less time for education. And they will not learn to manage their time correctly.

In many schools, people are judged by their outward appearence. Uniforms exclude that. Many people are against uniforms, but in my opinion, they can help, if used right.

It depends on what you mean by "good". I am not familiar with the research on recess but I will guess that the relationship between recess and "good" is hormetic (i.e., an inverted-U shape relationship). Exercise is a classic example of hormesis - too little exercise is "bad"; too much exercise is "bad"; half-way in between too much and too little is "good".
