Three hundred years; from the fall of Tenochtitlan (1521) to the end of the War for Independence (1821).
I take it you are looking for the word "Mexico". Mexico was conquered and colonized by Spain.
Because the US were colonized by England, while Mexico was colonized by Spain.
Mexico IS the homeland. If you mean which country invaded and colonized Mexico, it was Spain.
Because Mexico was colonized by the predominantly Catholic country of Spain.
It was known as the New Spain (Spanish: Nueva España)
Yes. From 1521 until 1821, Mexico became an overseas territory of Spain.
Spain did. From the Fall of Tenochtitlan in 1521, until the Three Guarantee Army entering Mexico City in 1821, present-day Mexico became part of the Spanish Empire.
this is a dumb question, why do Americans speak English? Mexico was colonized by Spain, Spain imposed their culture, customs, and language ,henceforth spanish became the official language.
Probably when Spanish conquistadors and/or travelers from Spain traveled to what is now Mexico and colonized it in 1521. This may not be the best answer but this is what I remember from Wikipedia. :)
Spanish conquistador Hernan Cortez conquered Mexico in 1521. Then Mexico became a colony of Spain until 1821 when it won its independence war (1810-1821).
Spain colonized the country Honduras. Chistopher Columbus came to Honduras and colonized it.
Yes. Spain conquered the Aztec civilization in 1521 thus subduing Mexico into an overseas colony, which lasted until 1821.
