Virginia does not require a license to purchase a gun, nor to possess one. A Concealed Handgun License IS required to carry a concealed handgun in public places if you are not a law enforcement officer, or one of the few others permitted to carry concealed. If you are 21, can own a handgun legally, can pass a background check, and demonstrate that you have had adequate training in firearms, Virginia will issue a concealed handgun license.
The South Carolina Department of Law Enforcement issues concealed handgun permits in this state of South Carolina (SLED). No license, background check or firearm registration is required when purchasing a handgun from an individual.

No you cannot. The drivers license is state specific, and you must be a resident of that state.
If you mean a handgun carry permit, you take a class, then you apply to the Department of Safety. You can take the class at a couple of different places. Try Rangemaster or RangeUSA. If you mean a license to purchase a handgun, that is not required in the state of Tennessee.
You can not carry an unconcealed handgun in Texas with or without a license.
Yes. If you receive a ticket in North Carolina and do not pay it, your license will be suspended in North Carolina and in the state of Virginia.
It depends on where you are and what you mean by license. If you mean a permit to carry a handgun, in the U.S. you have to be 21 in most states. If you mean a license to purchase a gun, most states do not require that.
It depends on the state, and on what you mean. If you mean a license to carry a handgun, most, but not all states require you to be at least 21.
You can apply for a learners licence and then get your final licence later.
In North Carolina, to purchase a handgun, you have to obtain a purchase permit from the County Sheriff's Office. To carry one concealed (and having one also alleviates the need for the aforementioned purchase permits), you must go through a certified course (I used Jim Lett in Holly Springs), then you pay $90 ($10 for fingerprinting, $80 for the background check) and wait about two months for it to process. Those are the only state-level gun permits/licenses issued in North Carolina.
