Is Arkansas a bad place to live?

I've lived in Arkansas most of my life. It has many natural beauties, both rural and urban communities across the State, and is generally a nice state to raise children (excellent public schools, respectable crime rates, etc.). The cost of living is very reasonable and the moral character of its residents provides for strong community values and involvement.
