There is no best place to live, because theres alot of people with different opinions.
Hi I'm a different person from the one who answered first. I went to Beijing in my twinning program, during spring. Let me warn you, some restaurants are awful. When I say awful, I mean the customer service. They were so rude to my teacher when she enquired (the reason) why the fish was cold. The waitress simply shrugged and answered, "不知道," which means "I don't know" in Chinese. Then she walked away! Then there's also the toilets. Even the toilet in the hotel lobby stinks! Some toilets don't even have locks or even doors! That's the disadvantages of living in Beijing. However, Beijing is a beautiful place, with many fascinating places, like the Great Wall and Forbidden Palace. I recommend it to you, for a holiday. Have fun in advance! ;)
Beijing is best known for it's food by many people but if you are really a fan of Beijing you would know that it is known for it's historical sites, places to visit, the amazing people there and the entertainment values.
