No I would say it is not. As far as just living there, it is heavily polluted and the Chinese govt is notorious for human rights violations. As far as business if concerned, it would be unwise to set up in China since it is a communist country, and the govt owns everything.

No. China is heavily polluted every where you go. Traffic congestion is at worst. Streets are dirty and dusty while it is overly crowded. There are more generic product which are scams than authentic stuffs. Unless if you shop for imported oversee products which will cost more compare to the imported country itself, you will find yourself shopping for cheap quality Chinese made goods. Living standard is poor in China. Most families struggle and spend more than half their income for food and necessities. real estate is inflated at its peak. Environmental issues are countless. People are rude and selfish. The government only objective is to generate income for its interest and disregard public concerns and human rights. There are so much talk of China had been transformed into a capitalist country while media censorship is notorious and yet still exist-for example the censorship of YouTube and facebook. Dont let the media fool you into thinking china is a beautiful metropolis country. Every where seems to be out or organize and chaos. Unless if you plan to dock for a short vacation, China is not a pleasant place.
