The northern part of Italy is considered 1st world, and the southern part 3rd world.
The second largest country in Europe is Kazakhstan, including transcontinental countries. France is the second largest country wholly in Europe.
Canada is the 2nd largest country in the world by land area, after Russia.
Greenland is not the answer, as it is an overseas territory of Denmark.
