Yes. Hong Kong, officially the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region is a Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China and a former British Crown Colony. According to the "one country, two systems" policy and the Basic Law, Hong Kong has a high degree of autonomy in all areas except foreign affairs and defence.
It is now part of China. It was under British rule until 1997 when it was 'handed back' by the (then) Governor, Chris Patten.
