Is Japan an island or a peninsula?

Japan is a country but, it it surrounded by all four sides of water which considers it an island. It is considered the closest island to a peninsula by some of the islands in the island country of Japan are nearly a few miles from the land. Most closely to touch is the top to touch Russia and the left to touch South Korea.

Was Japan ever just one country?

Yes it was but over time because of weathering, erosion, and pollution it was forced to be separated. The country has a slim chance in the future to be put back together.

Can we put Japan back together?

Well, you can but I don't know how. It would help the country but if we try to put the country back together it would most likely fail. It can cause more problems in the country. We should probably just leave it as you know it will get smaller but it won't disappear for millions of years as if we do try Japan could be destroyed in a few thousand years. The more you do something, the less years Japan stays. Plus most of the people will get killed.

Can we stop erosion?

No. Erosion is all around us every day. I'm sorry but it can not be stopped.
